One of API's first athletes. A great talent who turned to one of the best in the country, and in my belief had he continued on after graduation he could have been one of the best in the world.

 

Michelle Gomes, University HS Graduate 2004

College: University of Delaware Sophomore

Sport: Track

Nationally ranked in the 200 meters outdoors 27^th and fifth best in the state of Florida in both the 100-meter and 200 meters.

 

 

 

 

Robert Peterson, Sanford Seminole HS Graduate 2004

College: University of Pittsburgh Sophomore

Sport: Track

Robert was a huge success story.  Having never been one of the best sprinters in the state of Florida he came to us asking for help following his graduation. At first glance we thought it would be a tough road but because of his dedication he became a well sought after recruit in an event where there is plenty of talent and has improved his 10 meter times from 11.20 to 10.54 and 200 meter times from 22.80 to 21.66.

Lloyd Clarke, Winter Park HS Graduate 2006

College: Northeastern University Freshman

Sport: Track and Football

One of Florida’s best running backs, in 2006 Lloyd had a breakout year in which his team equaled his success earning a spot in the state finals. On the track Lloyd was one of the states best Shot Putters having placed as high as second at the state meet. The best-kept secret is that Lloyd has the speed to be a great sprinter which he will be asked to do at Northeastern.

 

Erin Farley, Colonial HS Graduate 2006

College: University of Kentucky Freshman

One of the countries best high Jumpers and multi-eventer, Erin became one of the most sought after talents this past year, signing early to Kentucky.

Avonie Parchment, Winter Park HS Graduate 2006

College: Rutgers University Freshman

Sport: Track

Nationally ranked in the top twenty in the 400 intermediate hurdles and top twenty in the 300-meter hurdles. As a participant at the NIKE Outdoor HS Nationals she placed 14^th, and in the state of Florida she was ranked 6^th in the 300m hurdles and placed 3^rd at the state meet.

 

 

 

Pavielli Vega, University HS Graduate 2006

College: Rutgers University Freshman

Sport: Track

Nationally ranked in the top fifty in the 200 meters outdoors and in the top twenty for the 200 meters indoors. She also was ranked 6^th in the state of Florida for the 200 meters and 12^th in the 100 meters.
